The wonderful Nick and Victoire tied the know at Victoria Baths in Manchester in August 2022, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Anyone who's had the pleasure of visiting this unique beautiful venue will know that it is quite possibly one of the most stunningly unique places you could imagine getting married!
Victoria Baths - A Manchester institution
If you're not familiar with Victoria Baths, it's a listed Edwardian swimming pool and Turkish Baths complex which, in need of major restoration, closed to the public in 1993. In 2003, the site was featured in BBC's Restoration series and the building is now partially restored and open from March to November each year when it plays host to a range of fabulous activities and events. Whilst it's not currently possible to swim at the Baths, they host group tours, film nights, concerts, exhibitions and, of course, weddings. I'd also strongly recommend heading along for one of their beer festivals should you ever get the chance!

This beautiful Manchester City Centre wedding was full to the brim with personal touches, my absolute favourite being a one-night-only performance by a selection of Nick and Victoire's best friends, who'd spent the weeks leading up to the wedding rehearsing a selection of the couple's favourite songs to get their wedding reception off to a crackin' start! As a music lover, it was genuinely touching to see such love and dedication, as well as witnessing the laughter and tears as the setlist brought back amazing memories for the whole wedding party.

As a wedding photographer, Victoria Baths is an absolute gift of a venue. Crammed to the rafters with breathtaking original features, hidden corners and tucked away rooms (not to mention the 'secret' top floor which is home to stripped floorboards, peeling wallpaper and incredible stained glass - seriously cool) there's no shortage of great spots for couples' portraits!
