Elise and Andy's wedding fell on the most perfect crisp February day, nestled away at this lovely venue in the Lancashire countryside. I knew I was going to love doing wedding photographs for this couple as soon as I met them on our pre-wedding video catch-up; they were so relaxed, no dramas, and just super excited to spend their big day with their loved ones!

I began the day joining Elise and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite, getting stunning portraits of Elise in her wedding dress and capturing all of the special, personal details. Serene and relaxed as she was, you'd never have guessed that she was about to get married!
A very nervous Andy greeted their loved ones to Higher Trapp Hotel, before moving through to ceremony room where Elise was walked down the aisle by her two adorable sons.
This gorgeous Burnley wedding took the biscuit for my favourite wedding speech ever. Elise's two young children insisted on speaking, and dedicated their five minutes on the microphone to telling Andy how much they loved him and how happy he had made their whole family. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house (as you can see from the pictures below!).

If I'm being totally honest, the true highlight of this wedding for me was Elise's smile - what a bloody radiant bride she was. The happiness just shone out of her face all day.
